Dear Sir/Madam,
These days we find many Indian Cables being used in projects and as a substitute to Nepalese Brands. In this context, we would like to inform you that as manufacturer of “Pioneer” brand cable we have always stood by the side of quality and in strict adherence to Nepal Standard (NS 344) requirements.
Many of us might not be aware that Nepal Standard (NS 344) allows usage of only class 2 copper Conductor as per IEC while Indian Standard (IS 694) allows usage of both class 2 and class 5 copper Conductors. Since cables with class 5 Conductors have Low Copper content it is more beneficial to the manufacturer and also cheaper but these cables have higher resistance and hence lower current capacity. I wish to share a small technical write up which will suggest why cables made as per Indian Standards with class 5 Conductors should not be used.
Please go through the attachment.

As a responsible manufacturer, I humbly request you to consider usage of Nepalese brands which comply with NS 344 Standard over Indian cables. Please feel free to call me for any suggestion/discussion in this regard.
Thanking You
